Meet Meagan.

Meagan Brown (she/her) is an award winning Montreal-based filmmaker. Meagan has worked in post-production for network shows on CNN, CBC, and History Channel, among others.

In 2019, Meagan received the Voices With Impact filmmaker’s grant, allowing her to produce her award-winning short documentary, Fighter. Her work has been recognized at film festivals such as the Atlantic International Film Festival, the SilverWave Film Festival, and most recently, the National Film Festival for Talented Youth in Seattle, WA. Whenever Meagan isn’t learning from her own mentors, she is working on the advisory board with Art With Impact, providing support and advice to emerging filmmakers who are telling stories centered around mental health.

Regardless of genre, there are elements of documentary in everything Meagan produces. Her heart is in the people-driven stories, and she is a firm believer that everybody has a story worth telling.
